Stephen is far from idle in a new production of Dick Whittington!

Stephen is dusting off his mismatched boots for another pantomime season for Christmas – this year he’ll be playing Idle Jack in the New Victoria Theatre’s version of Dick Whittington in Woking, Surrey!

This exciting new production – last performed at the New Victoria Theatre in 1995 – tells the rags to riches tale of a young man and his cat on a quest for fame and fortune. The show will be jam-packed full of sensational songs, a live band, magic, dazzling dance routines, magnificent slapstick comedy and bags of audience participation. A wonderful night out for all the family, it has everything a pantomime needs - and more!

Stephen will be joined by Britain’s Got Talent superstars Ashleigh and Pudsey, who will make their theatrical debut playing Dick’s love interest Alice Fitzwarren and her trusty canine sidekick!

Michael Pickering stars as the dashing Dick Whittington. Michael is no stranger to playing the hero, having appeared in numerous West End productions such as Wicked, High School Musical and Grease.

Panto legend Eric Potts will be pulling out the pinny to perform as Sarah the Cook. Best known for his portrayal of Diggory Compton in Coronation Street, Eric has been performing, writing and directing pantomimes for years – with this one being no exception!

Dick Whittington runs from Friday 7 December 2012 – Sunday 6 January 2013, with tickets ranging from Tickets £12 - £29.50 (premium seats £37.50).
